Fire Prevention Week - 10/7/18-10/13/18

The National Fire Protection Association’s (NFPA) fire prevention week theme is “Look. Listen. Learn. Be aware-fire can happen anywhere”.

• Look for places fire can start
• Listen for the sound of the smoke alarm
• Learn two ways out of each room

They can range from small in scale (minimal (if any) structure and soot damage) to large in scale (major structural and soot damage and even water damage). They occur in homes, businesses, residential complexes, vehicles, recreation vehicles, boats, etc.
